Sales Director

What you’ll do:

  1. Develop & implement a SaaS sales strategy: Working closely with the CEO, COO and the executive team to develop and implement a SaaS sales strategy to deliver repeatable new business growth across Beacon’s Software, Financial and Logistics products.
  2. Scale a world-class Business Development organisation: Lead the hiring and development of the Business Development (incl. BD Enablement) team – establishing a winning culture using data as a key tool to deliver consistently high team performance and accountability.
  3. Develop a repeatable revenue process: Build a repeatable process across Business Development and Account Management to acquire, retain and grow recurring revenue across software products.
  4. Collaborate cross functionally: Work closely with teams across the organisation, including Technology, Product, Operations, Strategy & Planning, etc. – to implement the revenue strategy and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

What you’ll need:

  1. 8+ years of experience in a sales leadership role, including experience in a high-growth B2B SaaS business, ideally with multiple products.
  2. Team leadership & development: Experience hiring, leading and developing a high-performing Sales team of 15+ people.
  3. Repeatable, data-driven, process: Experience building a repeatable sales process to scalably acquire new customers. Experience using data as a key tool to deliver consistently high team performance.
  4. Communication & storytelling: Exceptional communication skills and ‘executive presence’. Experience developing and refining compelling customer narratives based on a deep understanding of customer pain points and competitive market dynamics.
  5. Cross-functional collaboration: Experience successfully collaborating with large, cross-functional teams (e.g. Technology, Operations, Planning/Finance) to successfully implement the sales growth strategy.
